Coffee & Conversation: How to Maintain a Healthy Brain
Our Coffee & Conversation series at Bellevue Park Senior Living is a regular community gathering in Aldergrove, BC, that brings local experts, seniors, and families together to discuss crucial lifestyle and safety topics in a relaxed, supportive environment. After popular demand, we welcome back Karen Tyrell this month to explore tips on maintaining a healthy brain as you age.
Karen Tyrell, CPCA, CDCP – Canada Dementia Consultant, Educator, and author of Cracking the Dementia Code: Creative Solutions to cope with Changed Behaviours.
Join us for this interactive presentation as we explore practical ways to support and maintain brain health, based on recommendations from leading organizations, including the World Health Organization. Karen will also explain what dementia is, discuss the latest statistics, and share evidence-informed strategies to help reduce your risk of cognitive decline.
By the end of the workshop, our goal is for you to leave feeling informed, inspired, and empowered to take positive steps toward protecting your brain health. Stay for a question-and-answer session with Karen, followed by a tour of Bellevue Park Senior Living.
This FREE event is open to anyone interested in maintaining brain health as they age.
Bring a friend, ask questions during our networking, and enjoy coffee and a treat in the luxurious spaces we offer for socializing.
